Insomniac Music Theatre #5: Radiohead - Just

    Mig — Mon, 01/10/2011 - 16:27

You do it to yourself, you do. I tend to be someone who people will tell their random problems to. Family. Friends. Strangers. People who think they're friends. Still haven't figured out what it is, but people do it without fail. Part of this entry is directed at myself. Something I'm doing clearly projects this onto others as me being somewhat trustworthy. I mean, I guess I am, but that's not the point.

A lot of the problems I've heard lately tend to do with someone completely ignoring the root cause of the issue, which many times is at the very least partially caused by themselves. Tired of dealing with the same type of girls? Stop going after the same type. Wonder why people stop inviting you out? Think about it, I'm sure you can figure it out if you think about it for a second. Not drunk enough to go talk to someone at the bar? You're at a bar. Drink! Buy her/him one too while you're at it.

As per usual with these things, I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with it, so bear with me. Most of life's problems don't require the knowledge of what to do in order to get past a situation. I would wager most people know the answers to a lot of their problems, and can form a clear path to overcome said situation. Action seems to be the problem more often than it should be. Take action and do what common sense tells you to do. It's probably right. This might be the most generic one of these I've ever written. I apologize in advance, just listen to the song instead.

    Long story short: Do it.
